The flower industry defaults to two modes: the pristine luxury bouquet on a marble countertop, or the overflowing rustic market stall. Both are recognisable. Neither leaves room for something more specific.

Tended is a flower farm built around the idea that flowers mean more when you know where they came from. Every stem grown on-site, cut fresh, and delivered to your door. The brief was to build a brand around that origin story without letting it tip into the rustic or ultra-minimalism luxury aesthetics. This fictional concept explores a flower farm that feels like considered gifting.

Most flower brands collapse into one or the other. Tended needed to hold both.

Leading with origin was the answer. The grower is the differentiator. The soil, the hands, the cut — these are what a retailer can't replicate. Every design decision was tested against that: does this feel grown or manufactured? Does it earn its refinement, or just perform it?

A custom-drawn logomark and wordmark with a hand-crafted quality that feels grown rather than constructed. The tagline 'from our garden to you' does the positioning work quietly, completing the farm-to-door story in five words.

Colour & Typography
A palette drawn from the garden: deep burgundy, blush, warm cream, and dark soil tones. Garamond ATF Subhead brings elegance to headings. Alegreya Sans keeps body copy warm and readable.

Illustration & Packaging
Botanical illustrations carried across tissue paper and packaging that's detailed enough to signal craft, restrained enough to avoid the fussiness that makes so much floral branding feel overdone. The ribbon and tissue system makes the unboxing feel like part of the farm-to-door story.
